Maria Luisa Catricalà

Short biography of Louiselle: Italian singer, (born in Vallelonga, Vibo Valentia, 1946) spent her childhood in Isola d'Elba, she moves to Rome and she is discovered by lyricist [a=Carlo Rossi (2)] who becomes her husband. Cast in [l=RCA Italiana] in 1964 affected the early records. She debut at [i]Sanremo Festival 1965[/i] with the song [i]Ascoltami[/i], but the RCA retire its artists in the race. The popularity comes a few months later with [i]Andiamo a Mietere il Grano[/i] which gets a great success, as well as other songs inspired by the popular tradition or to a rural personage as [i]Il Pontile, Il Cacciatore, La Scogliera, La Vigna[/i] (1966-69). She affects five lps and about 30 singles, until the late '80s. She is still in business.
