Short biography of Paul Westwood: British bassist.

Born in 1953, U.K.
At 16 he joined the [a=National Youth Jazz Orchestra] and two years later attended The Guildhall School of Music, studying the contrabass.
He became one of London's elite session musicians with album credits for many artists such as [a=Vangelis], [a=José Carreras], [a=Hot Chocolate], [a=Madonna], [a=Moody Blues, The] and [a=London Philharmonic Orchestra, The] and for writers and producers like [a=Leiber & Stoller], [a=Andrew Lloyd Webber], [a=Phil Ramone] and [a=George Martin].
He has worked on film scores and toured with jazz musicians such as [a=Barbara Thompson].
