Axon Neuron / Vagwa

Short biography of Axon Neuron / Vagwa: Founded in 1995 in Rostock, Germany under the name [a=Thorn (14)] and changed later into [a=Axon Neuron]. After several tape releases on the self founded label [l=Ragnarune] they released their first CDr "[r=741259]" in 1998 under the name Axon Neuron/Vagwa. The project collaborated with [a=Weisskreuz] in 1997 and [a=N.O.P.] in 1998. Since 2002 the live line-up of Axon Neuron/Vagwa featured members of the band [a=Aurum Nostrum] on drums, keyboards and vocals. Also in 2002 [a=Axon Neuron / Vagwa] a collaboration with the French project [a=Nocturne (2)] under the alias [a=Europaplan] emerged. In 2004 Axon Neuron/Vagwa released their first vinyl mini album "[r=296042]" via the Berlin based label [l=Eternal Soul Records] followed by the double CD retrospective "[r=578672]" on the same label. In 2007/2008 Axon Neuron/Vagwa released a series of limited edition CDs called „Archive“ and several 3“ CDs via the [l=Ragnarune Mailorder]. The final part „Archive Part III“ was released in 2009 as well as an „Archive“ boxset. The band had split up 2012. In 2014 the essential Axon Neuron/Vagwa backcatalogue was made available as downloads via their bandcamp website.
