Short biography of Dr. Cyclops:
Dutch producer Thomas Ooms is mainly known for his work under his Sticky Tape guise, but in the dj scene of the Netherlands the name Dr. Cyclops isn’t an unfamiliar one. It is under this pseudonym that Thomas djs on various occasions. He’s a regular at the underground Ventolin parties (organized by him in association with Br3ath Records).
When Ooms started making music under the name Dr. Cyclops it was because: “I wanted to show the audience I could make music that was different from what I did as Sticky Tape or Bib Fortuna. Therefore I decided to use a new guise for my techno and drum ‘n’ bass work. Later on I made the choice to dj under this name.”
